About Me

I’m a figurative abstract painter working in acrylic and mixed media, exploring human connection through bold mark-making, layered texture, and emotional instinct.

Originally from Washington D.C. and now based in Brighton, I find inspiration in everyday encounters - moments of stillness, energy, and quiet exchange that often pass unnoticed. My work is rooted in observation and built intuitively, allowing colour, contrast, and gesture to carry meaning.

I work from my studio at Brighton Art Space 2, where I also host expressive painting workshops. Whether you’re an experienced artist or just curious, my classes are about self-expression, play, and process - not perfection.

My pieces have been collected internationally and exhibited in both the US and UK - but at the heart of everything I do is a desire to create work that speaks, connects, and moves.

FLOWER

POWER

Flower Power, 45-ft high mural by Sharp, on one of Washington, DC’s busiest avenues, was inspired by her large format mixed media masterpiece, featured in her 2024 Waldorf Astoria show.

A CEDAR FOREST, 40-ft wide mural for cutting-edge commercial space in downtown DC is a testament to Sharp’s “incredible use of materials and colors to create a semi-abstract interpretation of nature’s wild, winter energy. It makes our workplace forever inspiring ,” explains founder and CEO of Galway Sustainable Capital.
