This painting was inspired by this shiny, joyful woman who I photographed in Central London. Her clothes were so fun, her statement through her attire was captivating  and reflected a certain eccentric culture and character of contemporary fashion. While engrossed in her phone, she still exuded a vibrant presence and connection with her surroundings, saying, “This is Me.”
